Why did Horticulture New Zealand adopt Onside?
We were mainly looking to move away from a manual system. More specifically we liked that Onside is simple to use, has a logical format, is spatial map centric and is also usable on mobile in-app.

How important is Health & Safety compliance for your company?
It is really important, from the Board perspective and also at staff level.  With Onside all of our staff have the information needed to meet Health & Safety policy, right at their fingertips.

What were your biggest pain points before adopting Onside?
Mainly the manual work required in using paper based forms, but also the limitations that these processes had in changing behaviours to be Health & Safety centric.

How easy was it to move to Onside?
Very easy. We haven’t looked back.

What is your favourite feature of Onside?
The remote worker feature for lone worker safety. It allows us to keep track of our employees that are  working alone and notify us if they don’t respond to system prompts.

What is the key value factors that Onside has delivered for your business?
Having digital functions are important to our organisation, as it fits with our overall business strategy. Having a digital, portable platform that’s easy for everyone to use and understand has been a real step in the right direction.

All in all, the benefits outweigh the costs as it’s a system that is working to keep our staff safer.

Just a phone call away

We’re not the sort of techy folk with a customer service team in a far-off land or robots at the end of the phone. If you’d like to talk to a real, helpful and clued-up person, we’re here when you need us.
